Four Generations

On the Alaskan waters, since Seldovia in 1945

Gene “Whitey” Wadsworth homesteaded Seldovia in 1945 and fished the Sea Scout. His son Ray built the boats — including Order of Magnitude, the 50-mph herring seiner Alaska fishermen still talk about. His grandson Doug is building the next hull and many of Ray's other grandchildren often work the same decks.
